Job description

This is what you are going to do:

• Providing legal support in tendering, drafting / negotiating service and contract agreements
• Drafting and reviewing different types of commercial contracts
• Managing and negotiating any permit appeals and contractor claims with the support of the Company’s external lawyers
• Following-up on new legislation and recent case law in relation to contract-, construction-, commercial- and corporate law
• Oversee due diligence for maritime deals and conduct risk assessments
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide strategic legal advice on maritime business decisions
• Offer solutions and recommendations to support our maritime business objectives and growth
• Corporate legal advice and corporate housekeeping

What do we ask?

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Law 
• Extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including contract law, employment law, corporate law and compliance 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
