For our office in the Greater Berlin area, we are looking for a
Cost Calculator / Work Planner with experience in civil engineering projects and specialized diving operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial preparation of projects in coastal and civil engineering, ranging from inspections and maintenance work to complex underwater construction projects.

You will work closely with operations, engineering, and project management teams, playing a key role in translating customer requirements into feasible and realistic plans.

Job description

  • Prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction and shipbuilding projects
  • Analyze tenders, applications and technical documentation
  • Perform work preparation for diving and civil engineering projects
  • Create work plans, material lists and schedules
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
  • Support project kick-offs
  • Identify risks, optimization opportunities and potential cost savings

What do we ask?

  • Completed degree (at least a major), ideally in civil engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Experience as a cost estimator/ calculator, project planner or engineer in construction / shipbuilding
  • Experience with diving operations or offshore / inshore projects is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding and analytical skills
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Fluent in German and English
