We are seeking Dive Technicians to support challenging offshore and subsea operations in our yard in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands. 

Freelance Dive Technician

Job description

You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of air diving systems and associated equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in demanding offshore environments.

What do we ask?

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
Education & Technical Background

  • A recognized trade qualification, engineering degree, or equivalent technical education is required.
  • Preferred technical backgrounds include electrical or mechanical engineering/trade 

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Dive Technician in commercial diving, offshore, or subsea environments.
  • Practical experience with the maintenance, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of diving systems and associated equipment.
  • Experience working in demanding offshore environments with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and operational readiness.

Required Vocational Training & Certifications

  • Kirby Morgan Technician Course
  • Dive Technician Course
  • Gauge Calibration Training
  • Compressor Maintenance Training
  • Regulator Maintenance Training

Additional experience with diving systems, planned maintenance systems (PMS), IMCA standards, and offshore certification requirements will be considered an advantage. 

Contract & Rotation Details

  • European-based contractor preferred.
  • Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor.
  • Rotation: Back-to-back rotation of 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off. Rotation schedule can be adjusted depending on project requirements and operational needs.
